Okay, when I was a kid I learned some folk songs on a beat-up guitar and started my journey. Along the way I picked up acoustic, worship, rock, blues, metal, and classical. I went to music school at Portland Bible College for a couple years and now play regularly at Southeast Christian Center.

Over 10 years ago I set up shop as a guitar instructor in Gresham at a neighbor’s studio. When students started to get it, it was the best thing in the world, especially when they worked hard.

Then Covid hit and I took the business online, then I got married and moved to Los Angeles with my wife and now with 3 kids from her side. I came back 2023 and the world was open once again. I worked at the airport and we moved into Fairview, Oregon and we had a baby.

And now in 2026 I’ve decided to start guitar lessons once again at our home in Fairview, Oregon.

With 20 years of experience, I always try to go back to basics when I teach. I’m patient with new students and help them through the learning process step-by-step, giving them fun songs to learn to keep them motivated.
